Balances in each category will be repaid according to the interest rate that relates to them: First, promotional transactions and balances transferred during an initial period* which have a separate interest rate for the life of the balance will be repaid. Payments will be allocated to the balances with the lowest interest rate first. Next, balances with standard rates will be repaid. Payments will be allocated to balance transfers, then purchases, then cash withdrawals.
