Waste Management and Recycling

Our active waste strategy has been in place since 2004. This strategy, supported by our recycling hubs across our U.K. offices, ensures we recycle waste whenever possible, thereby continuing to reduce the waste we send to landfill. Since 2004, we have dramatically reduced our output to landfill (by over 60%). All our office paper waste is shredded and recycled; cans, plastic cups, fluorescent tubes, glass and cardboard are also recycled.

We are also continuing to investigate ways to reduce the waste we produce. As part of the recent refurbishment of our Nottingham office, waste reduction was built into the design. For example, within the new refreshment hubs, mugs made from 100% recycled material and glasses are being provided, this is to avoid the use of disposable items such as plastic or paper cups. The use of disposable items is also being reduced in our restaurant.
