Look for the contactless symbol when paying for purchases of £100 and under.
Touch
Touch your contactless card against the reader.
Confirm
A beep or a green light shows your payment is approved.
New card?
With a new card you'll need to do a Chip and PIN transaction before you can make a contactless payment. This ensures your card is in your hands and not someone else's.
